Reconnecting with Stillness

High Altitude Hiking and Meditation in the Indian Himalayas.

22nd – 29TH MAY 2022

We are glad you made it here, happy to see you are seriously thinking about joining us.

When did you last challenge your body and listen to your inner voice?

Today we have divided our lives into work, family, socializing and holiday. In each compartment we seek a different kind of fulfilment and ease. Often this makes us disconnected and scattered. We might reach a point where we long to be somewhere else, or wish we were someone else

Have you ever found a small wild flower in a tucked away valley wanting to be somewhere else?  Have you heard of a daisy wanting to become a rose?

Forests, trees, rivers, brooks, mountains and all of nature reflect joy and serenity. Experience the unchanging peace that comes from a needless space by simply accepting one’s true self.

The mountains are calling you! Lets pause and reflect inwards.

On Unplugged Trails you get a chance to reconnect with your stillness, to know what unconditional happiness and freedom mean.

HOW?

Join us for an immersive workshop in the high-altitude mountains of Himachal Pradesh, Parvati Valley, (Village Kalga) India; for 8 days of hiking and meditation with a small group (5-6).

The Himalayas provide a perfect space to retreat. The crisp mountain air easily brings your mind clarity. The workshop helps you to become aware of your conditioning as you begin to hear the inner eternal voice clearly which otherwise seems to be whispering.

This retreat is for those dedicated souls inclined towards challenging their minds and bodies and who enjoy the simple life of living in mountain Homestays without disturbance of technology.

WHEN AND WHAT?

Your preparation for adventure begins the moment you register with us. We will provide you with an exercise schedule and training hikes in Pune (optional). We meet online for discussions and introduction to meditation. The training is very important to build up your stamina for a stress free trek/hike.

THE DAYS

We start the day with an hour of morning meditation. We do local day hikes around Kalga, to name a few, we would hike up the forest leading to Kheerganga, visiting Ghai, Fairy Forest, meditating near springs and brooks. In between hikes there will be periods of rest, self-enquiry, meditation, pranayama, writing, discussions and reflections. (Detailed itinerary will be shared once you register)

The workshop is not limited to Trained Hikers, as long as you train with us in preparation. This is not a Kullu-Manali resort holiday, and we have had to turn down interested before, due to physical unfitness.

The weather in the mountains is unpredictable, so please be open to change of schedule, or spending time indoors if it is required. Drugs, alcohol, smoking are strictly not a part of this retreat. Phones will be turned off most of the days. All meals will be vegetarian meals. (No Jain food is available)
