Join us this December for a retreat at Gushaini located in Tirthan valley. Starting our day with meditation and movement, we allow our minds to just be. Reading, Writing, Meditating, Sharing with the group, we slip into peaceful observation. Watching each element in nature as we hike, we slowly learn to bring ourselves to live in the moment.
A winter retreat where the sun sets early and cold starry nights are followed by crisp bright days, we stay at the unique and popular Raju’s Guest House in Gushaini. Meandering along village roads by the Tirtan River we take a rocky path to the Yogini Waterfall. Another day we follow a wild glacial river and pass through Rupa Village and hike up to the gate of Himalayan National Park. We walk to the Gada Durga temple and explore Bathad in coming days.
Retreat Details:
- Dates: 1st December 2019 (evening arrival in Gushaini) to 6th December 2019 (Post lunch Departure)
- Difficulty levels – Beginner, Day Hikes only.
- Retreat Costs – Rs. 12,600/-185USD (Till 5th September 19)- Rs. 14,600/-213 USD (5th September 19-2nd November 19)
- Last day of Registration – 2nd November 2019
- Cancellation policy: 50% refund between 2nd November – 20th November. No refunds are possible after that date.
- Costs includes – Stay 5nights in shared double rooms, Homecooked vegetarian buffet for all meals (Non-Jain), kitchen for personal use is not available, Guide Charges, Local Transportation charges during the retreat, Mediation and Movement sessions, Diaries and Material for various activities
- Practise walks in and around Pune and Copenhagen is free for registered Unplugged Trails participants.
- Cost does not include – Personal hiking gear, travelling costs from your destination to Gushaini and back.
- We offer assistance with travel bookings and guidelines of flights, trains, and taxis to and from Gushaini. For this an additional fee of Rs.1000/- will be charged. This fee does not include the travel expenses, just the additional travel bookings will be provided.
