A Himalayan Retreat
24th October – 31st October 2025
Kullu Valley, Himachal Pradesh, India
In India, yogis traverse majestic landscapes drawn to distant holy places. These journeys, known as yatras, are a sacred preparation—a wish for transformation, a mystical readiness to meet the divine.
Unplugged Trails beckons you to embark on a unique yatra, a wondrous journey within. Join information meeting 13th July 2025, 4pm IST
This retreat is for you if you are looking to
- Deepen your meditation practice
- Immerse yourself in the fullness of silence, in meditation and in nature.
- Gentle Hikes in the Himalayas
- Understand and befriend your mind. Go beyond the narrative of your life.
- Feel the power of simplicity.
- Explore your relationship with the world
- Find peace and clarity
- Unfold Self-compassion, wisdom, and a sense of playfulness in your life.

EMBARK ON A PERSONAL EXAMINATION OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORLD.
Over 7 days we will, through a variety of meditation techniques, dialogue, satsang, and reading, silent mountain walks and day hikes enquire into the inner world and the outer world. The material and timebound. The spiritual and eternal. Drawing inspiration from wisdom traditions around the world, we will enquire into the individual and collective worldviews as well as ways and obstacles to clarity

Retreat Facilitators
Rina and Vijay share a profound appreciation for all Wisdom Traditions, and love Satsang (self-enquiry), meditation and the Himalayas. They have studied Advaita Vedanta (non-duality) under their Guru and have spent time visiting/living in an ashram in the Himalayas, where they currently lead meditation and hiking retreats. Why do we call the retreat The Eternal Path?
We have to act and think, as humans. We must move; we strive to understand this world and ourselves in it. Life seems to be a path. All of humanity have walked the path forever. For now, let’s think about it as a path. But the path is not simple, it appears to be a great tapestry of paths. Moving through this tapestry, we are looking for a feeling of satisfaction, safety, happiness. While the experience of feeling something is “good and right” is purely interior, the world we experience is seen as exterior. That is how our senses work.
In this way, the outside is seen as a cause, the inside feeling is seen as an effect. “That made me feel bad. This made me feel good.” But, what if this is a misunderstanding? What if the outer reality does not automatically produce the inner state? Could it be the other way around?
It is worth examining.
I will propose, for now, that we can think about is as if there is an “inner path” that is essentially of the spirit and an “outer path” that deals with the material. One is eternal, the other is timebound. Both are endless and important. To know which path we are walking, and why we are walking, is crucial.

When we are looking for wisdom, when the path is spiritual, it is called sadhana in Sanskrit
How do we distinguish the two paths from each other?
Unplugged Trails invite you to pause, to examine what we think we are doing? Could it be that our inner state changes the outer? Is the idea of an inner and an outer state just a result of how our senses work? Is there even a path? Is there an individual?
In our October retreat in the village of Naggar, in Kullu Valley in the Indian Himalayas, this is the line of inquiry Rina and Vijay will facilitate and inspire.
As individuals, and as a group, we will examine our beliefs. Challenge the human habits. Walk towards freedom. Walk the path of clarity.
